At Gloucestershire Bike Project, our youth programmes are designed to build confidence, resilience, and practical skills through hands-on cycling experiences. We work closely with schools, care providers, and community groups to create safe, supportive environments where young people can thrive. Over the years we have delivered hundreds of youth support sessions.
Some of our courses have included:
• Bike Maintenance Workshops: Teaching essential bike repair and maintenance skills to foster independence.
• Cycling Confidence Sessions: Helping young people develop safe cycling habits and road awareness.
• Adventure Rides: Organised group rides that encourage teamwork, exploration, and physical activity.
• Mentorship and Support: Providing positive role models and ongoing encouragement.
Impact on Young Lives
Our programmes have helped hundreds of young people gain new skills, improve their mental and physical health, and build lasting friendships. Many participants have gone on to volunteer with us, becoming ambassadors for cycling and community engagement.

We welcome referrals from schools, social workers, and community organisations. If you know a young person who could benefit from our programmes, please get in touch to learn more about how we can support them. Projects do not run constantly as we are a small team, but we are trying to grow so we can deliver these sessions every week
