Get involved to help the Project
There are a number of ways to support the project and in so doing benefit vulnerable young people who need some positivity in their lives.
Shop
You can choose to shop with us, buying your bike and accessories here. Proceeds help fund our free Build a Bike workshops for young people.
Donate a Bike
You can donate your old bike, or bike parts for use in our workshops or to be refurbished and sold to help fund the projects we run. Maybe you could put one of Donate a Bike posters up at your workplace, club or organistion. We will happily post you some posters.
Funds
£25 buys a set of lights, lock and helmet for a young person on the Build a Bike course.
Fundraise
Give your riding that something extra and set up a JustGiving page to help raise funds for the project or set up a cycle challenge among your cyclist friends and donate the proceeds.
Skill Share
Like any organisation, we need professional services such as photography, copy writing, visual merchandising, report writing, fundraising, press release writing, admin or event support and of course, bike mechanics to help with bike refurbishing.
Organisations
Organisations have in the past chosen to forgo sending Christmas cards and instead have done a collection and donated the funds to us.
Others have held fundraising dinners, raffles, bring and buy sales, bake sales and company lotteries and donated 50% of the revenue to us and the other 50% to the winner of the lottery. If you have an idea of how you could help the project, please do get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
