We have now moved!

The new site is at 16 Commercial Road Gloucester GL1 2EA.

We are so excited to finally open the doors. We continue to sell the refurbished bikes we are well known for and we now also offer New Trek bikes.

We have decided to sell more new bikes to help us run more projects.

Our free kids bike building projects will run every week from Feb 21st and our free adults bike maintenance workshops begin in March.

We offer a free bike loan scheme too, if you are interested get in touch.

If you are looking for a used bike which has been refurbished to the highest standard, then you have come to the right place. And if you are looking for a top quality new bike, then Trek is an excellent choice.

Funds raised through bike sales is used to help fund a variety of projects each year such as free bike building courses for vulnerable young people, free bike safety events, free adult workshops and to cover overheads.

Prices start £50 for adults entry level refurbished mountain bikes up to around £350 for decent quality bikes, hybrids starting at £90 with racers and vintage bikes starting at around £75 up to £400. We also sometimes have  higher end bikes refurbished bikes ranging in price up to £650.

So whether you are looking for a cheap bike to ride to the shops, or are a student looking for a bike to ride between University of Gloucestershire campuses, or a decent quality new or second hand bike, we will probably have the bike that will suit your needs and your budget..

You are very welcome to come down and see what we have in stock or discuss what you want.

All our bikes have been checked over, serviced and refurbished. Bikes over £100 come with a warranty and a free tune up after 4-6 weeks, so you can buy with confidence. Bikes can be seen and test ridden at our Commercial Street workshop.

The bikes we have in stock vary from day to day. You can always call or email us to ask what we have in stock.

We sell vintage racers, very on trend, mountain bikes, town bikes, hybrids, shoppers, dutch style bikes and kids bikes.

We always have  some very reasonably priced bikes in stock, as we understand that not everyone is looking for a classic bike or a high end bike, so we always have some bikes that make great commuting bikes, pub bikes, uni bikes or leisure bikes as well as the more rare classic bikes.

Gloucestershire Bike Project is a not for profit social enterprise so all profits are used to fund our work in the community. We raise the majority of our funding for our community work through our Bike Sales and through grants from Trusts and Foundations.

As what we have in stock changes from day to day,  it is always worth popping in and having a look. We strive to provide the community with access to reasonably priced, roadworthy bicycles that are serviced to a very high standard by our Cytech Level 3 mechanic.

We will give you honest advice to make sure the bike you get is the best bike for you.

Getting a bike from us ensures you are getting a bike that is fully refurbished to British safety standards, or a new bike that is built to our meticulous standards, it also means that you are contributing to your local community as we use funds raised from refurbished bike sales to run a range of workshops for young people in the area and help fund the many free initiatives we deliver..

Gloucestershire Bike Project is the only bike shop in Gloucester where you get more than value for money, you also get social value for your money.

Viewings and try outs are  welcomed and encouraged.
